Winter Series Wrap up!

Big thanks to the Manawatu Car Club.  The car club managed to run the Series under challenging circumstances. Two rounds effected by lock down, but with innovative thinking everyone got to race, well done Richie, Jeff and the club.

Sabre Motorsport had a busy series with up to five cars to run with drivers from all over the country, every driver was new to car racing so lots of hard work training them up.

Driver of the #18 car Toby McCormack now holds the record for being the lightest driver ever run at just 31Kgs.

Toby showed good progress over the series. Toby missed out on running at round four with a crash in Qualifying through no fault of his own.

Darren Thornley did round three and intended to do round four but broke his wrist a week out from the last round.

We saw the arrival of Louis Sharp for two rounds, this pocket rocket picked up his first Car Racing win at round three.

Speedsport Scholarship Winner Dylan Grant completed rounds three and four in preparation for His Summer Scholarship Season.

Hayden Bakkerus in the Teams #42 car took the Series win with a healthy margin showing good speed and consistency.
